School History

SINCLAIR LEWIS SCHOOLS opened its door to the public on the 18th day of September, 2000, and has since been providing qualitative education to children and particularly to parents that are willing to invest in the education for their children.

The school started with 18 pupils and 3 teaching staff with the proprietress also teaching both teachers and pupils (Leadership by example), with a vision of building a new generation of children and today, by God’s grace has over 230 pupils. The School has its Nursery and Primary Section, consisting of over 20 classrooms, located at 9, Femi Odutayo Street, Agiliti Estate, Mile 12, Lagos.

Since commencement in year 2000, the school has produced several sets of graduates who are now in reputable secondary schools, colleges and high schools in Nigeria and abroad.

In fulfilling of the dreams of the founders of the school and in compliance with the Federal Government Policy on Education, a purpose built site of administrative and classroom blocks to accommodate Sinclair Lewis College and the student hostels as well as staff quarters has been constructed. It is located at 23, Aina Falege Street, Agiliti Estate. Mile 12, Lagos. The new building which was opened in September, 2013 consisting of a Multi Purpose Hall, Library, Classrooms, Physics, Chemistry and Biology Laboratories, Home Economics Laboratory, Basic Technology Workshops and special rooms for Music, Art and ICT.
